About the School

The Post-Quantum Cryptography Winter School is a two-day program focused on cryptography in
a quantum era. The winter school is hosted by the Institute of Systems, Information Technologies and Nanotechnologies (ISIT) and Institute of Mathematics for Industry, Kyushu University.
The venue is Nishijin Plaza, Fukuoka, Japan (the same as PQCrypto 2016).
lt is organized following the success of the 2014 Post-Quantum Cryptography Summer School.

The Post-Quantum Cryptography Winter School aims to provide an overview and introduction to the main approaches to providing cryptographic tools that may be safe against quantum algorithmic attacks. The target audience is students and other researchers conducting or interested in conducting research related to designing, testing or deploying quantum-safe cryptography.

The winter school will be followed by the PQCrypto 2016 conference on February 24-26, 2016.
Students who come to the winter school are encouraged to attend the conference.
